The judges said it was so much better than their main bathroom.

“This feels like the type of bathroom they were aiming for but didn’t quite achieve it, but this absolutely nails it,” Neale said.

After Shaynna picked her jaw up off the floor she said the glass pendant lights with the matte white double vanity was perfect.

She said the ensuite looked like a “high-end hotel suite”, while Neale praised the boys for their simplicity.

“I think if you look around, there’s actually not that much in here, but the things that they have chosen are just beautifully placed,” Neale said.

Darren said the room was great design in its simplest form.

Shaynna said this room was about creating something that people didn’t know they wanted.

“Most of the world would not know they want a timber bath, but when they come and see it they’ll say ‘I want a timber bath’,” Shaynna said.

She also commented on the metal strips around their tiles that takes away from the luxury finish, but overall the judges praised a fantastic use of space.
